WHAT FIELDS OF STUDY DOES THE STET BURSARY COVER?

STET (Support Teacher Empowerment Trust) is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the 2027 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded to Female students, for studies towards the following qualifications:

  • Teaching Undergraduate degree through UNISA
  • Postgraduate degree in ANY field at a South African University
  • PGCE studies at a South African University

The Support Teacher Empowerment Trust (STET) is a South African non-profit organisation founded in 2017 to strengthen the country’s education sector by investing in the development of future and current educators. The Trust primarily supports Black South African women pursuing teaching qualifications through financial assistance, mentorship, leadership development and ongoing professional learning opportunities designed to help them succeed throughout their careers.
