WHAT EXPENSES DOES THE KANGNAS WIND FARM BURSARY COVER?
The bursary may provide cover for the following expenses (which will be determined on an individual basis): registration fees, tuition fees, examination fees, learning materials (textbooks, stationary, etc.), accommodation in an institution residence or equivalent and meals.
Bursary funds are limited by the budget availability for a particular year.

WHAT DOES KANGNAS WIND FARM DO?
Kangnas Wind Power Station is a renewable energy project located in the Northern Cape, near Springbok in the Nama Khoi Local Municipality, within the Namakwa District. The wind farm forms part of South Africa’s growing renewable energy sector and uses wind resources to generate electricity for the national grid.
The project reached commercial operation in November 2020 and supplies the electricity it produces to Eskom under a long-term 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The development is backed by a consortium of independent power producers and investment partners.
