About the Transnet Apprenticeship Programme

The Transnet apprenticeship programme is designed to prepare learners to become competent and qualified artisans.

Successful apprentices will receive structured technical training that includes practical workplace exposure and the development of trade-specific skills.

Learners will be trained to plan and prepare work, use technical equipment and tools, manufacture and assemble components, inspect and commission installations, and carry out maintenance and repairs.
