About the Milpark Education Graduate Internship Programme

The Milpark Education Student Engagement Hub Graduate Internship Programme is designed for curious and motivated graduates who want to gain practical workplace experience while receiving structured training and coaching.

Graduates will rotate across three key areas of the Student Engagement Hub:

• Sales
• Student Support
• Collections

The programme combines practical work, training, coaching and rotational experience. Graduates will develop skills to assist prospective students, support enrolled students and handle conversations relating to student accounts.

Previous contact centre experience is not essential. Milpark Education states that it recruits for potential, attitude and the ability to learn.

Sales and Admissions Responsibilities

During the Sales and Admissions rotation, graduates may be responsible for:

• Understanding prospective students’ goals and helping them explore suitable Milpark qualifications.
• Explaining programme information, admission requirements and registration processes accurately.
• Following up on enquiries.
• Helping prospective students complete the required next steps.
• Contributing towards agreed sales and registration targets through informed and ethical conversations.

Student Support Responsibilities

Graduates will also gain experience supporting enrolled students. Responsibilities include:

• Responding to student enquiries with empathy, clarity and professionalism.
• Helping students navigate systems, academic processes and institutional procedures.
• Resolving queries within the graduate’s level of training and authority.
• Escalating more complex matters when necessary.
• Keeping students informed.
• Following through on commitments made to students.

Student Accounts and Collections Responsibilities

The Collections rotation provides graduates with exposure to student account management.

Responsibilities may include:

• Helping students understand outstanding balances.
• Explaining available payment arrangements.
• Handling financial conversations sensitively and professionally.
• Supporting payment commitments and collection outcomes within Milpark’s policies.
• Balancing empathy with accountability.

Systems and Operational Responsibilities

Successful candidates will also be expected to:

• Maintain accurate student records and case notes.
• Use approved knowledge resources and digital tools.
• Provide consistent and accurate guidance.
• Manage competing priorities.
• Work towards agreed service, quality and productivity standards.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to the student experience.

Learning and Development

Learning and professional development form an important part of the graduate programme.

Participants will be required to:

• Participate actively in training, coaching and assessments.
• Complete rotations across Sales, Student Support and Collections.
• Apply feedback received during the programme.
• Demonstrate increasing independence as they progress.
• Work collaboratively across the Student Engagement Hub.
