The South African Geomatics Council (SAGC) is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the 2027 academic year.
Bursaries will be awarded for studies at the following at SAGC-accredited institutions, for the following qualifications:

The bursary will provide comprehensive support, including covering tuition fees.
Students will also receive mentorship and guidance from professionals within the Geomatics industry.

WHAT DOES THE SOUTH AFRICAN GEOMATICS COUNCIL (SAGC) DO?
The South African Geomatics Council (SAGC) is the statutory professional body responsible for regulating and supporting the geomatics profession in South Africa. It was established under the Geomatics Profession Act, 2023 (Act 12 of 2023) and replaces the former South African Council for Professional and Technical Surveyors (PLATO).
