• Mathematics Literacy is not accepted.

• Intend to study towards an approved CA-stream qualification.
• Achieve at least 60% in Financial Accounting.
• Have achieved at least 60% in Mathematics in Matric.
• Have achieved at least 60% in English in Matric.
• Be studying towards an approved Chartered Accountancy qualification.
• Be entering second year in 2027.
• Achieve at least 60% in Management Accounting.
• Be entering third year in 2027.
• Achieve at least 55% in all core modules.
• Be entering postgraduate studies in 2027.
• Have been accepted into a CTA programme.
• Be uploaded in PDF format.
• Not be larger than 2MB.
• Where a required supporting document is not yet available, applicants are instructed to submit their most recent highest completed academic results.

AGSA Bursary Programme 2027

The Auditor-General of South Africa is offering bursaries to students pursuing Chartered Accountancy qualifications at universities accredited by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).

The bursary supports students from Matric level through to postgraduate CTA studies.

Successful bursary recipients are expected to complete their articles through a training contract with AGSA after graduation.
