Scholarships will be awarded to students from South Africa, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe, for distance learning studies towards a Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma and/or the Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of London.
This scholarship supports mid-career professionals committed to social justice who wish to pursue further legal studies to strengthen their impact and drive positive change.
Applicants can enter the programme at different levels and are not required to complete the full qualification. Those with an LLB may enter directly at LLM level, while other applicants can progress from a Postgraduate Certificate towards the LLM.
4 scholarships will be awarded by the University of London International Programmes, and will cover the following expenses: full tuition fees and examination entry fees.
Scholars must complete their studies within 1 to 5 years, with a minimum of 2 modules to be completed per year.
Scholars will be able to continue the course if they maintain satisfactory progress and academic reports. Applicants can read the Postgraduate programmes in Laws prospectus here.
