Ntabankulu Local Municipality is recruiting two Finance Interns within its Budget and Treasury Office.
Successful candidates will be appointed on a two-year contract and will gain practical experience in municipal finance, accounting, procurement, payroll, revenue management and supply chain management.

Residence within the municipality is a compulsory requirement.
Successful Finance Interns will assist with collecting, understanding, processing, verifying and reporting accounting-related information.
They will also assist with preparing monthly and weekly financial reports, procurement administration and payroll administration.
Other areas of exposure include implementation of financial management reforms and the Municipal Finance Management Act, development and use of spreadsheets and databases, capturing information into the municipality’s financial accounting system, revenue management and supply chain management.
Applicants must submit an application covering letter together with a detailed CV.
Applications must also include originally certified copies, not older than three months, of academic qualifications, an identity document and a driver’s licence where applicable.
