WHAT FIELDS OF STUDY DOES THE GLOBELEQ BURSARY COVER?

The Globeleq Education Trust is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the 2027 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded to Female students from the Western Cape, for studies within Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)-related fields.

WHAT EXPENSES DOES THE GLOBELEQ BURSARY COVER?

The bursary may provide cover for the following expenses: tuition fees, registration fees, learning materials (textbooks, stationary, etc.), examination fees, accommodation in an institution residence or equivalent and meals.

The total value/ cover of the bursary, will be determined on an individual basis.

WHAT IS THE SELECTION PROCESS FOR THE GLOBELEQ BURSARY?

Bursary recipients will be selected based on 3 main criteria: academic results (Matric prelims), financial need and enrolment in an eligible institution.

All applicants will receive a confirmation email after their application has been received. Applicants will be notified if their application was unsuccessful. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.
